I am quite particular about my hair, and for $15 for a cut and wash, I am not completely satisfied but not entirely disappointed either. I did mention the skin fade to the barber three times, but there seemed to be a communication gap. Despite some nods of acknowledgment, the fade was not done, and the cut is a bit uneven. However, he did maintain the length I requested. I have only tried sugaring before, so this was my first experience with a Brazilian Wax, and I was pleasantly surprised by how easy and painless it was! It was much more relaxing than sugaring, and I felt comfortable throughout the entire process. The conversation was great, and all the hair was effectively removed. I especially appreciated the post-wax oils that kept my skin hydrated and free of ingrown hairs. Jamie Kim, Liora, and the rest of the PT team kept me in top form throughout my recovery, and also kept me grounded, pulling me out of the initial weeks of immobility, eventually getting me back to full capacity. I eagerly anticipated every PT session! Each therapist at this facility is a skilled and empathetic pro. They are all approachable, will push you, and want you to excel in your strength and healing! The therapist was just okay, not exceptional like other places I've visited in the area. My main concern was that they attempted to cut my session short. At the 45-minute mark, the timer beeped, signaling the end, but after some discussion, I managed to get the remaining 15 minutes of my below-average massage. This was my premiere visit to this spot and I’m let down. I spied reviews online and opted to reserve a silk press for an upcoming birthday. I reached my appointment punctually and my stylist was on hand and got right to work. She offered me some counsel on flat ironing my hair at home and some product recommendations. She was kind and easy to collaborate with. Why 2 stars? I reserved a silk press with cut/trim and I did not receive a silk press. My hair looks more like a blow out that I did myself and this is only HOURS after I departed the shop. While my hair feels soft, it is also a tad dry. The trim I got was decent, but I think more should’ve been taken off. My hair I observed also had a slight burnt scent as I walked home.
