My visit for eyebrow grooming with Pooja turned out to be a nightmare. The service here is overpriced, and the quality is severely lacking. The salon was uncomfortably warm due to no air conditioning, and Pooja rushed through the procedure, neglecting to show me the final result or inquire about my satisfaction. I couldn't even assess the outcome properly as she hurried me to the checkout. I can't vouch for other staff members, but I strongly advise against booking an appointment with Pooja. I visited to get a men's haircut for my long hair. The barbers were very professional, gave me the perfect fade on the sides, and cut the exact length I requested. I felt understood as they explained the exact steps they would take and provided helpful suggestions. It's a cozy salon but very efficient (I was finished in about 40 minutes for a cut, shampoo, and blowout!) and the prices were reasonable for the area (it cost me only $50 excluding tips which must be in cash). Walk-ins are not accepted, appointments must be made which isn't too inconvenient. I entered with severely damaged hair that I believed was beyond repair (literally resembling an old broom) and left with beautifully healthy layers and face-framing. Jeremy executed the exact cut I requested, skillfully eliminating the damage while preserving my desired length. I have visited this establishment multiple times, and the staff has always been welcoming. However, my last visit on Friday left me feeling disappointed. I went in for eyebrow threading, upper lip waxing, and individual eyelash extensions. Everything was going well until the lash technician finished and I noticed that the lashes were longer than I wanted. She mentioned that she had used a mix of medium and small lashes. Without consulting me, she proceeded to trim them, resulting in a tacky appearance. I left the salon feeling unhappy with the outcome, despite spending $40 on the lashes alone (and nearly $70 in total). Although I still tipped her $6, it seemed like she expected more.
