The gentleman at the reception was incredibly courteous and provided us with cozy slippers for our massage session. The massage itself was phenomenal, truly targeting deep tissue tension. My therapist was considerate and inquired about adjusting the pressure to my liking. The addition of hot stones and warm towels at the conclusion of the massage was a delightful surprise. They exclusively use organic products, and my manicurist was incredibly gentle and meticulous. The salon exuded a serene and calming atmosphere; the scents, decor, and energy of the manicurists all contributed to a perfect setting. After my polish dried, I was pleasantly surprised by a follow-up to ensure my experience was satisfactory and a final cold water rinse to preserve my beautiful manicure. I was informed about their 7-day polish policy, where they offer complimentary touch-ups for any chipped nails - mind blown! This was a first for me, and I left completely satisfied with the service. I’ve already scheduled my next appointment because of the exceptional care I received. I am still dealing with a severe breakout on my forehead above my eyebrows a week and a half later. Perhaps I should have emphasized more that I had never waxed my eyebrows before? Or mentioned my preferences for shape and avoiding pulling above my eyebrows? The lack of communication and consultation during the process was disappointing. I wish there had been a discussion about the procedure and the products being used. There was no consideration for my first-time experience, and now it will be my last.
Receiving a rude comment about my eyebrows not being symmetrical in the middle of the session was disheartening. Instead of feeling empowered and confident after my appointment, I left feeling less sure of myself. As women in the beauty industry, it is important to uplift and empower clients.
