WOW just WOW. I needed a good deep tissue massage and came here after some research. They were open late and had a $39 offer for a one hour full body massage. Alex was my therapist and she was great. She worked on most of the knots I had, she used hot stones and hot towels. They offer foot reflexology and private divided rooms for comfort. I was able to hear people talking in the other rooms but overall was nice with the relaxing music. There is a call box at the address to press so they let you in but when I arrived, a person came down without me buzzing and let me inside. 60 minute back rub = $55, 15 min foot rub $15 which I think is a great deal. Definitely a popular place. Looked clean and didn’t feel sketchy at all. Rooms are separated by curtains and then they have a separate area for reflexology. Disappointing. Moldy caulking was prevalent. The steam room was barely warm, and the salt room was cold. The dry sauna had a flickering strobe light. I wasn't informed that the 5th floor was designated for women only until 5 pm (I arrived at 2 pm, with a 3-hour limit). There were no clear signs indicating this. I paid the full price unknowingly and couldn't access everything I paid for. This was misleading and deceitful. Even the Manager acknowledged the need to inform customers about this policy. Yes, it's essential. I purchased a voucher for $38 for a 60-minute deep tissue massage with hot stones. The regular price for the massage on the website is $48. Upon arrival, they insisted on a $5 tax payment. Nowhere on the voucher does it mention this. They claim it's in the fine print??? When using a voucher, I have already paid for the service I am purchasing. I have used vouchers in the past for massages and have never been asked for a “tax”. This establishment seems to be trying to extract more money from clients. Furthermore, the therapist attempted to pressure me into leaving a tip before the treatment. When have you ever left a tip before receiving a service, especially a massage?! In the massage room, the table was very rigid, and the only covering available was a towel with stains. Lastly, the therapist never inquired about which areas I wanted to focus on. I ended up lying on my back for the entire 60 minutes. The massage itself was decent, but the customer service was lacking.
