Following a few deep pore detox facials (which were already fantastic for my skin) with Anya, she recommended that I try microneedling due to my severe acne scarring and hyperpigmentation. Anya addressed all my inquiries and ensured I felt at ease before proceeding with the treatment. I commenced regular microneedling sessions around May, and my skin has never appeared better just a few months later (after merely three sessions) -- it's truly like magic. My skin appears more luminous and evenly textured, my pores seem significantly smaller, and I rarely experience breakouts anymore. Additionally, I've noticed a remarkable change in my makeup application now that I have a smoother skin canvas, preventing my makeup from appearing flaky or uneven. I don't even need as much makeup now because my skin looks stunning and radiant on its own! This feedback is long overdue but better late than never! I had a fantastic experience at Maple Leaf Rehab in Cascade Valley after a knee surgery last year. Jamie Kim, Liora, and the rest of the PT team kept me in top form throughout my recovery, and also kept me grounded, pulling me out of the initial weeks of immobility, eventually getting me back to full capacity. I frequently stroll past this establishment and decided to visit for the first time tonight to have my gel x removed. I neglected to peruse the feedback, and now I regret it. Initially, (like others) they attempted to lift the gel x ends with a transit pass and then resorted to using a drill, excessively shaving them down to the point of discomfort. I couldn't retrieve my credit card from my wallet without causing pain to myself and ended up in tears on my way home.
