I have jet black hair and it’s so tricky to find someone who nails the color, grateful I found Riley! Everyone at the salon is so kind, and it’s beautifully designed and smells lovely. Everyone at Madison Square Salon was incredibly kind and the vibe was top-notch! The price for a cut, wash, and blowout was $50 (cash only) which is very budget-friendly. Nevertheless, the individual who attended to my brows yesterday was unprofessional. She insisted on a 20% tip which is not obligatory at all. Despite tipping, she seemed displeased with the amount I gave and mentioned that customers usually offer a 20% tip.
Lost a patron who would frequent for threading weekly because the individual was too avaricious and insistent on additional "tips".
I truly admired this place and its location but could not tolerate the individual.
Might consider trying the alternate location.About

The pricing on Groupon is amazing, and redeeming the voucher was a breeze. I appreciate their extended hours, as it allows me to come after work and makes scheduling easier. The space is very clean, hygienic, and pleasant. The treatment was quite painful for me, but that's not a reflection on the quality of service or the business. I am quite particular about my hair, and for $15 for a cut and wash, I am not completely satisfied but not entirely disappointed either. I did mention the skin fade to the barber three times, but there seemed to be a communication gap. Despite some nods of acknowledgment, the fade was not done, and the cut is a bit uneven. However, he did maintain the length I requested. I had been to this location before and the haircut wasn’t too bad. But this time, it was terrible that even my partner said “it’s strange”.
