I recently went to Delger for the first time and they are amazing. I adore my lashes and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. I was running late - and they were incredibly kind and accommodating. The atmosphere is serene and relaxing - and the most comfortable "bed" I've ever experienced in a salon. They are extremely gentle and the lashes are stunning. Due to my tardiness, they had to do a different set - which turned out great. I've been getting lash extensions for 10 years and this is by far the best overall experience I've had. It was satisfactory, it was thoughtful of them to accommodate me last minute, but I wish they had paraffin wax. I just returned home from my manicure/pedicure and the gel on my nails is wrinkled. They inform you post-payment that a 20% gratuity is required, not included. If tipping is mandatory, it should be factored into the price. Paying $75 (for a standard pedicure with regular polish and a regular gel manicure) and then an obligatory $15 tip on top ($90 total) seemed a bit steep to me, especially since the gel finish is not smooth. It's an adequate nail salon for quick services. Bring cash as they charge extra for card payments. Andrew DiSimone, the proprietor, used to manage my hair, and when I switched to Suzie, the transition was seamless - I couldn't discern any variance in Andrew's and Suzie's expertise in handling my "curly and frizzy" hair. I wish I could offer a more positive review because the staff is incredibly kind, but unfortunately, I cannot. Everything about my acrylic manicure was flawless - except inexplicably, each of my nails has these strange specks and black particles in them. They are only visible under direct sunlight, which is why I did not notice them at the salon. I am unsure if it's due to inadequate cleaning of the nails before the final coat or if there was contamination in the acrylic powder itself, resulting in debris. I am truly dissatisfied with the unsightly appearance of my nails.
The dark specks and white residue embedded in the powder are distinctly visible upon close inspection even after washing my hands and wiping my nails. The nail color I selected was meant to be a solid blue. I have never encountered this issue at any other nail salon before, hence I am perplexed and somewhat repulsed by what transpired this time.About
