I adore this establishment; the staff is always so pleasant! Typically, I visit for brow waxing and threading, but today I brought my sisters for their first visit, and it was fantastic! They were quite anxious, but the attendant who assisted them was efficient, swift, and kind!
I had a wax done a week before my vacation, and the esthetician recommended the seaweed wax. Unfortunately, I felt stubble before leaving for vacation. I would not recommend this place; I will stick with the European Wax Center from now on. They are the best! My experience was at the Jamaica Ave location (Perfect Brows).
The technician who worked on my brows made them excessively thin. I was on the verge of tears when I left yesterday, and I am still upset today. Additionally, I had my lashes done, and I am not pleased. I requested individual lashes, but upon removing them at home, I discovered they were cluster lashes. What a disappointment! I usually like the technician who does my eyebrows, but she was not available yesterday. In the photo, you can see the $45 "individual set" that turned out to be clusters. I used Vaseline and coconut oil to remove them because the glue was so harsh that it caused my natural lashes to come off.
