Regrettably, I did not have the opportunity to experience the exceptional service that this salon is known for providing. An issue with their online booking system led to my rescheduled appointment being canceled. Despite receiving an email confirming the change, it seems that I was expected to understand that without a confirmation email, the appointment was not valid. This realization came as I arrived at the salon after leaving work early, only to find out that my stylist had already left for the day. I had waited for a month for this appointment, as it was the earliest available. Although offered to reschedule, I am uncertain why I should trust that the same issue would not occur again. As a new client, the first impression is crucial, and unfortunately, this experience has left me disappointed. I was looking forward to having this salon be a part of my journey, and I had even referred someone here. However, they will now have to make their own decision about this establishment.
The hair stylists here lack professionalism. I visited this salon today to get two-strand twists done on my natural hair. The shampoo girl did a good job washing my hair. However, for a salon that specializes in natural hair, they seemed to have very little knowledge about it. The stylist was harshly combing through my hair, causing discomfort. She started working on my hair while it was still wet. I mentioned that I prefer my hair to be slightly blow-dried to prevent tangling, but both the owner and the stylist disregarded my request and insisted on putting me under the dryer. While under the dryer, I requested again to have my hair blow-dried, only to overhear one stylist mentioning that they took me in last minute. The stylist then proceeded to blow-dry my hair aggressively, causing breakage. When she started twisting my hair, she did not use any products. I stopped her because I knew I wouldn't be satisfied with the results. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. Some individuals should reconsider owning salons if they are unwilling to listen to their customers.
