Consistently met with the service I anticipate on each visit. The salon offers a welcoming and amicable atmosphere with skilled stylists who pay meticulous attention to detail. Kareema consistently tends to my hair needs, whether it's braids or twists, always treating my hair with care, which is a significant positive for me.
Absolutely disappointed. My initial visit resulted in the hairdryer snagging my hair. The stylist's approach was overly forceful, creating an uncomfortable setting for both myself and my child.
Opted for a silk press and trim, and the outcome left me delighted. Unlike experiences at Dominican salons where hair is just straightened, Chocolate City restored my hair's health and beauty. The staff were exceptionally kind, and the shampoo attendant was particularly pleasant. Thank you, Tasha, for the fantastic job; I am thrilled with my hair and will definitely be back.
