I recently brought my 3-year-old son for his first haircut, and thanks to our hairstylist Jen, it went incredibly well. The place was bustling as soon as we entered. Booking an appointment in advance is a must. I appreciated the friendly appointment reminder text. Jen was extremely kind and patient with my son, who has long hair and was a bit anxious.
Visited this place the evening before my child's first birthday for his inaugural haircut and was impressed by the service, professionalism, and the establishment as a whole. I made the appointment based solely on reviews and pictures online, feeling a bit apprehensive, but decided to take the leap and was not let down (especially since we traveled from Howard Beach!)... We arrived over thirty minutes early, and they promptly took us in, and our hairdresser Tess was simply perfect. She skillfully trimmed our son's hair and was incredibly kind. 12/10 - will return and highly recommend!
I scheduled an appointment for my young child's initial haircut and was initially anxious and hesitant, but it turned out to be perfect. Initially a bit reserved, they played his favorite show and seated him in a Batman-themed car, which kept him calm and entertained. When he started to lose interest, they offered him a toy. The atmosphere was fantastic - soothing and peaceful. There was no sense of urgency. Johanna was exceptional. I will certainly return!
