I opted for eyelash extensions and specifically requested softer lashes. The technician agreed but ended up using harder lashes and deceitfully claimed they were soft. Upon closer inspection post-payment, I discovered the truth. Despite presenting evidence of the switch, she continued to deny it. Avoid getting eyelash extensions here if you value your time and money.
I have to admit, I almost didn't want to share this, but I'll keep it brief and say this - The European wax center charges around $22 for eyebrow services. At Hira, as of June 2024, I get my eyebrows waxed and shaped with threading for only $7! They also offer a rewards program for returning clients. In my opinion, it's definitely worth it, and my brows always look fantastic.
I've been a loyal customer here for over a year, primarily for threading services, and I've always been satisfied. However, during my recent visit, the esthetician suggested waxing my sideburn area before threading. Despite my preference for just threading, she insisted waxing would be less painful. I reluctantly agreed, expecting a small strip, but she waxed a larger area, leaving me with a burn that now needs careful attention to avoid infection. This experience has shattered my trust in this place, and I will not be returning. I recommend sticking to threading and seeking service from the owner, who is excellent.
