Accompanying my 88-year-old mother to this salon every other week has been a pleasant experience. The staff exhibit kindness and gentleness towards her, resulting in beautifully manicured nails and cuticles.
I acknowledge that perfection is unattainable. When it comes to my manicures, I can overlook minor flaws like a slightly crooked nail or an imperfect shape. However, there's no excuse for a nail technician to be impolite - that's just not acceptable. The issues with my nails were numerous: a crooked nail, incorrect shape, inconsistent matte and gloss finish, stickers with air bubbles and folds, and a noticeable bump on one nail. As I was about to explain that I only had 2 dollars in cash to tip, the technician insisted I keep it, stating that I needed it more and emphasizing the customary 15-20% tip. Despite the urge to respond rudely, I refrained, feeling disheartened by the experience of being kind to someone who was simply rude.
Having resided in this region for 3 years, I've explored various nail salons. Among them, this one stands out as my top recommendation. They tend to be quite busy, so it's advisable to call ahead to avoid waiting in-store. Their approach is gentle and their hygiene practices are top-notch.
