I would not recommend. I had a prenatal massage (I have had standard massages here before but stopped due to the price escalating), the price was not disclosed at booking but it was 129. Which is outrageous considering there is nothing special about it. You are on a standard massage bed and simply given a pillow to rest under your belly, and barely massaged. The bed set up made my back hurt and the masseuse could only get to a portion of your back at a time. I arrived just before my appointment, was then asked to fill out about all these different forms after being told I was done. Which made me 10 minutes late for the start of my appointment. I was not advised to arrive 10-15 minutes early to allow time to fill out a bunch of paperwork. Yet my massage still ended before the 50 minutes even elapsed, started 10 minutes late and ended 5 minutes early (this is not taking into account the 5 minutes they give you to dress and undressed) Overall I was highly overcharged for a very low quality “prenatal” massage and would not come back for any massage. I also find the constant push to sign up for a monthly massage plan ridiculous and rude to try to push it onto your customers. The young lady providing my massage was very nice and did a fine job considering how limited she was.
Unfortunately, the Hancock Village location has declined in customer service. I went today for my Mother’s Day gift and from the moment I came in, things were off. I was last there during Summer 2023. They said I had never ever been (I was a founding member!), then had not been there since 2020 when I actually didn’t go at all. My husband went up there and gave a woman his card a couple of weeks before the appointment. Today, when I was leaving after what was a good massage, they claimed my husband never paid them, never put a card on file, etc. I paid them for the massage and then they gave me a card reader for a tip. Their card reader said they didn’t even have it connected! I paid cash and walked out. I will not be going back.
Amazing services. I try to pair a facial with a massage at least once a month. The ladies who help with scheduling are incredible. I have been to a few Hand and Stones across the country and they are truly consistent in value, quality and experience. Go now, do it.
