My partner and I were looking for a new spot to get our eyebrows done nearby and noticed this place had fantastic reviews. BIGGEST MISTAKE WE MADE! It was not crowded at all, with only one customer present. My partner went first, the attendant was extremely rough with her and the result looked like very little had been done. When I requested to have mine done next, they hesitated on who should do it even though there was still only that one customer. It felt incredibly awkward but I didn't want my partner to be the only one getting the service. I felt rushed out of there and she completely missed one side. I'm not sure about their nail services, but my partner will never find out because we will not be returning.
The proprietor is a swindler. Continuously demanding more money for her services. I came in for tips and she tried to persuade me to opt for a regular manicure instead, but was still going to charge me $35 because I had requested an almond shape?? Who charges an additional $27 for a shape?? When I declined and insisted on the tips, she mentioned that she would still need to charge me more than the menu price because they were "longer" than usual. They were not. This happened a few times where she arbitrarily asked for more money during the service. I thought it might be normal until I switched salons and realized it is not. Steer clear of Sue, she will wait until you're mid-service and unable to leave the table to inform you that she's going to charge extra because of "xyz." Truly absurd.
A very pleasant and tidy establishment. I have to give it a four-star rating due to one particular experience. After selecting my color, I turned around and saw a nail technician picking her nose with both hands. She was the only available technician at the time. Whenever you visit, I recommend selecting someone other than the individual I encountered. I did not feel at ease and was rather disgusted, so when you visit, avoid requesting the technician with short, boyish hair.
