I absolutely adored the entire process of getting a haircut at Petal. Where to begin? The ambiance of the place is incredibly inviting and the whole environment exudes warmth. Alex attentively listened to my concerns about my curly hair and took their time with precision. It was my first time receiving a curl-friendly haircut, and I was amazed at how stunning my natural hair could look. This was a phenomenal and tailored experience that perfectly suited my needs and facial structure. I typically visit Katy for my lash appointments, but she was unavailable this time and suggested I see a different artist. The new artist repeatedly poked my eyes during the session, causing discomfort. While Katy usually takes around 30-45 minutes for a fill, this session lasted an hour and a half. I had to stop her as I needed to leave. Despite not inquiring about my desired look, I mentioned wanting natural-looking lashes, but the result was overly full and bushy, far from what I wanted. I felt self-conscious about my appearance, especially on a work trip. The artist did not apologize for the eye-poking or getting glue in my hair, which I later had to remove myself. She even used a sharpie on the tape on my face, emitting a strong smell. I doubt the quality of her training and will not return to her. It's unfair to expect her to cater to clients of a master artist when she lacks experience.About
