I typically visit Katy for my lash appointments, but she was unavailable this time and suggested I see a different artist. The new artist repeatedly poked my eyes during the session, causing discomfort. While Katy usually takes around 30-45 minutes for a fill, this session lasted an hour and a half. I had to stop her as I needed to leave. Despite not inquiring about my desired look, I mentioned wanting natural-looking lashes, but the result was overly full and bushy, far from what I wanted. I felt self-conscious about my appearance, especially on a work trip. The artist did not apologize for the eye-poking or getting glue in my hair, which I later had to remove myself. She even used a sharpie on the tape on my face, emitting a strong smell. I doubt the quality of her training and will not return to her. It's unfair to expect her to cater to clients of a master artist when she lacks experience.
Katy was incredibly kind and thoroughly explained the various package options to me. She delivered the full and natural set of lashes I desired, guiding me through each step of the process. I felt at ease with her to the point that I actually dozed off during the session. I am thrilled with my new lashes and appreciate her detailed instructions on caring for them and managing their growth. Her honesty and warmth were truly commendable.
I opted for a classic fill, and just two days later, I've already lost over 10 lashes, making it seem like I need another fill already. Despite following the aftercare instructions diligently, I am disappointed with the rapid loss of lashes. The lash technician was gentle and kind, which was a positive aspect. However, I have decided not to revisit the salon.
