This place takes their time! My nails were so thin near the cuticles you cannot tell my nails are fake. I even opted for a French manicure because I didn't want to cover them up the first time I went. You may have to wait a bit, and it may not be the prettiest place, but they are nice and take pride in their work.
My son went in for a full set of dipped nails. When I went in to check on him, I asked how much it was going to be. The lady told me $90. I was like, "what!?!?". She was like, "yes, he's getting rhinestones". I told the lady, "no, he can go without the rhinestones". That dropped the price to $75, which is still absolutely outrageous to me for a solid color dip on acrylics. When we were done, my son told me that they had charged extra for the coffin shape. Again, absolutely ridiculous to charge for shaping. I'll also mention that the people that work there had their kids running wild. One of them was pushing a customer's son, so the dad is yelling at his kid to apologize. The kid did. Then as soon as he went back to working, she continued pushing the customer's son. After the dad was yelling at the kid, another lady walked out before her service was given. An elder lady that works there starts yelling at this customer to pay and come back. The lady didn't even have anything done. As I get to looking around, I'm noticing how filthy this place is. Dirty towels draped all over the pedicure chairs, nail dust an inch thick on every surface, stuff scattered everywhere. It was a mess! Didn't feel clean at all.
I gave specific instructions on how I wanted my 16-year-old son's nails. Only to find out as soon as I left, they did them how they wanted them. Complete disregard. The woman did have her children running around and probably did not want to do her job correctly or correctly give instructions to whoever took over his nails. If you didn't want to do the job, we could have gone somewhere else! I definitely did not get what I paid for! It's kind of ironic that you have pictures of little boys who did not pay, but you think it's okay to not do the service that was paid for to someone else.
