I had the pleasure of getting my hair done today by Ms. Bex, and she did an absolutely wonderful job!! Definitely would recommend seeing her!
As a first time customer, aka “Guinea pig”, let me just say, the establishment itself is a very nice facility. You can tell they take pride in how they present themselves. It’s very clean & professional looking. And equally as enjoyable was the staff, & students themselves. Very kind & upbeat. Unfortunately, the services I received were the most atrocious beauty experiences in my entire life….and I’m 52! Just be forewarned, if you find yourself short on time & money & have someone suggest that you go to a local cosmetology school and let students cut, color & blow dry your hair…..just know that there’s a big possibility you might walk out looking worse than you walked in like I did. Nobody expects perfection from anybody still learning (wouldn’t even necessarily expect “perfection” from a professional) but what most of us probably would expect is some level of competence & to not waste 4 1/2 hours of our lives & $70 of our hard earned money & be allowed to walk out looking like this!! I’m not gonna give all the deets - I’m not gonna blast anybody specific - I’m just sharing my experience so others can see what could possibly happen if they find themselves in the same situation with time & money as I was. Again, I knew these were students, what I didn’t know was that they really are not ready to be working on actual humans, nor did I realize that the instructors would be totally fine with this level of service for $70 and would let anybody walk out the door looking so hideous! After I sped away, I went home and cut my own hair. Took me 15 minutes to chop off 3 inches & put layers in. It’s not perfect but it’s at least better than bad! The hair is ugly enough - y’all don’t need to see my ugly face too 😜 I wish the young ladies the best, I just sure hope they aren’t wasting their money getting a subpar education because ultimately it was a professional instructor who had the final say and let me walk out the door looking like this & paying full price for it too!🙄
