Consistently professional and immaculate. I've been coming here since my high school days. Well worth the wait. There's a level of excellence maintained here that sets it apart from other salons. Every single one of the nail technicians is fantastic. The quality of work is exceptional every time. My nails never chip or break. I always feel let down when I go elsewhere for nail services, but the distance makes it hard to come here regularly.
I arrived for a pedicure and was informed of a half-hour wait. After waiting for 20 minutes, another lady entered and was also told to wait for half an hour. However, she proceeded to sit at a nail station and had her nails done. When I inquired about this, the staff explained that she had requested a specific technician. Despite not taking appointments that day due to it being the day before Thanksgiving, I decided against getting my nails done. The lack of concern was disheartening. This was the poorest customer service I have ever encountered. Not all customers are treated equally.
About a week ago, I had a gel manicure and a pedicure done. To my disappointment, the gel nail started coming off in less than three days. I've been informed multiple times that gel nails should last for two weeks. I returned to the salon to have it fixed. However, a few days later, another nail started coming off. I went back and requested to speak with a manager, insisting that they either redo both my hands and my pedicure or refund me. They chose to only refund me for the gel manicure. Furthermore, I was blamed for their shortcomings. I was told that I should have consulted with the nail technician on whether to opt for gel or the powder alternative. Firstly, I had never heard of the powder option until recently. Secondly, it should be the technician's responsibility to assess my nails and recommend the best option. They should guide me on what would be most suitable. The manager also claimed that it's not accurate that gel nails are meant to last two weeks, alleging that all salons mislead customers with this information. She argued that it depends on the fragility of your nails. Despite being a patron of this salon for three years, they never inquired if I preferred gel or powder. I request gel, they provide it, no further questions. Is this not false advertising? Blaming the customer is unprofessional and unacceptable. The manager's attitude was extremely rude and belittling. The appropriate response should have been, "I apologize for the inconvenience." "We will take necessary steps to prevent this in the future." Instead, I was scolded for their mistake. I will not be returning!
