This was not a good experience for me. I rarely write reviews, but the damage that this haircut has done to my self-esteem is irreparable and it will take me at least a full year to regrow my hair to the point where I no longer feel it is completely butchered. I have gone to a different curly hair stylist for over 10 years, and I have ALWAYS looked forward to visiting their salon, as I would leave feeling relaxed, recharged, and beautiful, I, in fact, always made plans that day to show off my hair, unfortunately, my regular stylist had to re-arrange their business due to completely understandable personal concerns, so I sought out a new stylist. Based on the other reviews here, I assumed this experience would be the same, relaxing and that Jordan would aim to make me feel pampered and beautiful, I left feeling hurried, confused and somewhat in shock. Jordan greeted me at the door and didn't introduce themselves, and then whisked me downstairs to their laundry room where the sounds of tumbling laundry accompanied my experience. I HAD fairly long hair when I showed up, when straight, it was down to my belly button, when curly, it hit just below my chest and I wanted to retain length while getting volume and shape, where possible, but definitely more willing to sacrifice volume for length as I am EXTREMELY attached to my hair being longer than shoulder length. I had booked the hour-long appointment, as that was the amount of time my former stylist needed to cut my hair, but I definitely would have been willing to pay more if Jordan had told me I should've booked the longer hair appointment time to take more time sculpting my hair if they needed it for a longer shape. Jordan noted that they were going to take 3-4" off my hair to get me shape and volume, which would have been fine, and would have meant my hair would be the same length it normally was when I was making regular hair appointments pre-COVID, but when I saw my hair on the floor, I thought it looked like much more than requested. I just got home and measured, and they cut off 6-7", this is NOT due to shrinkage of their styling my hair curly, as I immediately washed my hair when I got home in hopes that they had just managed to pull a little bit more curl out of it than my former stylist. My appointment also felt super rushed, I booked and paid for an hour appointment and Jordan was done in roughly 35 minutes. I was really surprised that my scalp was not scrubbed during the wash, and how little time the conditioner was left on my hair, as Jordan had noted my hair was very "dry." When I came out, my hair felt dry
