I had a not-so-great experience at Zazen. I received multiple services, but ended up with first degree burns on my eyebrows from the waxing. The technician acknowledged the burn but did not apologize or offer a refund. The lack of responsibility and customer service was disappointing. My toes also chipped within a day. Overall, a subpar experience.
Zazen is a fantastic place. I've been a regular for years and love the owner, staff, and services. The salon is well-run, with great hygiene practices and a relaxing atmosphere. The organic treatments and seasonal specials with non-toxic products are a luxury at an affordable price.
My experience at Zazen was disappointing. I had to wait for my appointment, the chairs were uncomfortable, and the polish selection was limited. The zen pedicure was rushed, nails were clipped too short without asking, and old polish was painted over. Overall, I won't be returning.
