Our visit to the spa was truly luxurious. We were greeted promptly upon arrival for our appointment. Harper, our stylist, was very attentive, taking the time to understand the exact look my son had in mind for his special event. My son was especially impressed with the hair wash, calling it the best he's ever had, and he enjoyed the lovely scent of the products used. I would gladly recommend Harper and this amazing spa to others, and we are eagerly looking forward to our next visit.
I was thrilled to try out this spa since summer 2023 - my regular spa was fully booked a month ahead! I had booked a discounted service with a trainee who was supposed to be supervised by the spa owner. When I arrived, it seemed like the owner was visibly upset and mentioned that the trainee was occupied with another client so she would have to wash my hair. However, that did not happen; my hair was washed, conditioned, and combed by two different individuals. Only later did I meet the trainee who said she would finish off my silk press. She was friendly, made me feel at ease but then admitted she had never worked with my type of hair before! Despite having thick 4A/4B hair. As she started blow-drying, I requested more heat protectant, and she replied, "it was applied at the wash basin." I stayed quiet, thinking maybe it was in one of the products they used BUT I noticed a lot of smoke coming from the blow dryer alone! Then the owner intervened and showed her how to improve the blowout... during the flat ironing process, both the owner and I were puzzled by how the trainee flat ironed my hair! She pressed the iron so tightly that you could see the veins in her arms bulging! I knew after everything was done that I had significant heat damage that I had been avoiding for years! And I left with my hair smelling strange.
