The construction of the building is subpar and the layout is inefficient. The majority of the building staff are pleasant and the maintenance is decent. However, there is a lack of effective policy regarding noise and neighbor issues. The upstairs resident consistently creates loud disturbances from 9pm to 4-5am, making it challenging to rest. Despite multiple complaints, it is uncertain if any action has been taken. While street noise is minimal, noise from upstairs neighbors, especially if they do not use area rugs, is prominent.
It is advised to avoid this place completely. The management of the building is extremely poor, possibly the worst I have encountered in my 10 years of residing in midtown. The maintenance requests are often met with blame from the superintendent, who has scolded me and my friend on several occasions. One of the doormen displays rude behavior that crosses the line, contrasting with the generally friendly demeanor of the others. It is frustrating to be locked into the lease until its end. Additionally, the move-in and move-out fees are higher than average, with no corresponding level of service provided.
