Alex gave me a stylish fade haircut. A very friendly stylist who charges a fair price for top-notch work. She has a steady flow of clients to keep her busy, but not overwhelming her in a single hour. She has been in the industry since 1995, and as a former artisan, she constructed her current salon herself 15 years ago.
She only specializes in men's hair but she is exceptional. I haven't trusted anyone else with my hair since my first appointment with her. Mikal is a wonderful person and cuts my hair exactly as I prefer.
Everyone knows that French hair salons are the best. The legend Jean-Pierre "JP" Dubois styled my hair for 40 years and I never had a bad cut. But one day I stumbled into Alex's salon. Alex is a super nice Japanese woman and after going to her for a year (now 5 years) I must admit that she is even better than my compatriot JP Dubois. How can this be? Well, Alex is just a talented hair stylist. Yes, I said TALENTED! She is also a very kind soul and since I am 25% Japanese we have things to talk about, like Japanese cuisine such as sushi, ramen, and tempura. But I digress. The bottom line is that Alex is the best stylist I have ever seen. You do not even have to tell her what you want...she just knows. Everyone walks out looking fantastic and her prices are very reasonable. I hope for Japan to prosper and thrive. Alex has no love for any oppressive regimes. But she is now a U.S. citizen and a Patriotic one at that. I assure you, you will get the best haircut you've ever had. God bless.
