JCPenney Salon

I must express my disappointment with the JCP salon at this location. The stylist, Brittany, lacked the skill to cut children's hair properly. The haircut took an excessive amount of time, she cut off much more than I had requested, and the experience did not feel therapeutic as getting a haircut should. My daughter even developed neck pain from the prolonged appointment. I would have preferred giving my partially blind dog a trim instead. The overall lack of friendly conversation and the noticeable tension upon entering the salon were off-putting. If I could, I would rate this salon half a star. I have decided never to return to this establishment.

I am dissatisfied with the haircut I received. The salon was offering a $12 back-to-school promotion, but as a walk-in customer, my children and I had to wait for over an hour in an empty salon. Unfortunately, the stylists were not skilled in cutting black hair with clippers, which was not specified in the promotion. I will be sharing pictures of my son's haircut. Additionally, my son ended up with scratches from the clippers. 😡

Exciting news - there is new management in place! I had my hair cut today by the new manager, Javiera, and it was a fantastic experience. Despite my thick hair, she was able to give me a beautifully smooth blow-dry along with the layers I wanted. A solid 10/10 experience.
