I strolled in on a weekday afternoon for a trim, and they took me right away. For a long hair trim for ladies, it’s about $90 each, and they guided me through washing, conditioning, cutting, and blow-drying. Overall, the service was top-notch and a delightful experience.
I had a unique encounter at this fancy salon that left me quite surprised. While on a weekend trip to DC, I was suggested this salon called posh, so I decided to give it a try. My appointment was with Gaston; as I settled in for my hair session, he began criticizing my hair, calling it challenging and time-consuming. It was quite off-putting to hear such remarks from someone working in a salon, especially since dealing with diverse hair types should be part of the job. Despite his attitude, I tried to ignore his comments and focus on my phone. However, his rough handling of my hair and rushed approach made it the worst salon experience I've ever had.
Usually, I drive back to my hometown in NC for my hair appointments, but lately, my hair has been feeling incredibly dry! I stumbled upon this salon on Vagaro and thought, why not give it a shot for a haircut. And let me tell you, it was the best decision ever. I sat in Sally's chair, and she agreed that a haircut was necessary, but also pointed out the brassiness in my hair (which was true). Since she had some free time and I had a free evening, I agreed to let her work her magic with some coloring and highlights.
