Initially, the price listed on the website for the keratin treatment is not all-inclusive. Besides the $300, there is an additional $110 required to complete the process, which I only found out after Lana began the treatment. When I inquired about it, she mentioned that a keratin treatment typically costs that much and that she would include shampoo and conditioner. However, I believe this information should have been disclosed to the client before commencing or at least have the cost listed as $410 instead of $300. When I visited Lana, my hair was shedding and chemically damaged. It had been seven weeks since my last relaxer, and I was seeking an alternative to a relaxer for the short term. We extensively discussed relaxer versus keratin treatment. While she didn't explicitly guarantee anything, after our conversation, I understood that my hair wouldn't be as straight as with a relaxer but would at least be more manageable, and the keratin would reduce shedding and be better for my hair than a relaxer. Lana did mention that my hair might shed a bit in the first week after the keratin. Now, six weeks later, I might have to cut off what remains of my hair due to excessive shedding and breakage. It's a complete disaster. After the first week, I sent Lana pictures of the significant shedding and informed her that my scalp was very sensitive. She had me come in for a treatment at no charge; however, my hair continued to shed, and I sent her another picture because the shedding was abnormal for me. Her response was, "Your hair was shedding when you came to me." Yes, it was shedding, but not to the extent where I can't even put my hair in a ponytail, let alone a pigtail because it's now so short and thin. Additionally, my hair was never as manageable as Lana claimed. I paid a high price for a blowout that lasted only a couple of days at best, resulting in significant hair loss. My hair, which is kinky, is in the worst condition it has ever been. I'm almost 50 years old, and my hair has never been in such a dire state. It's incredibly distressing, to say the least. Perhaps the initial sign that this salon wasn't right for me was the lack of reviews. Unless you have money to spare and/or don't care about the state of your hair, I suggest avoiding this salon. I have attached a few pictures showing the daily shedding, and Lana claimed this level of shedding was normal.

While in the city to see my children, we accidentally found this salon when looking for another one. We decided to give it a try, and we're so grateful we did. The service was prompt, with immediate attention. I had a pedicure, and both my daughters had full sets done perfectly. One of them even got stunning nail art. My pedicure was the best I've ever had, with thorough and attentive care, no rush like most places. Even though I don't live nearby anymore, I'll definitely return whenever I'm in town. The service was top-notch, the salon was clean, with a calming and welcoming atmosphere. Everyone was friendly and accommodating! I'll share some photos below.

Visited last Friday to inquire about pricing and styles. I intended to have Senegalese twists done to the middle of my back. The quoted price was $200 with a $20 discount from a flyer. I scheduled an "appointment" for a week later (today) at 8 am. However, I was not asked for my details. When I called to confirm yesterday, I was assured someone would be available. Upon arrival this morning, there was only one customer and one braider present. They were unaware of my "appointment" and struggled to find someone to assist. Despite waiting 45 minutes, no one arrived. The stylist, possibly the owner, did not apologize or check on me. This experience reaffirms why I avoid these braiding shops.

The salon is very lovely and the staff are courteous and kind, but the lashes I received aren't quite as expected. They appear cute, but they differ from the reference picture I provided. Unfortunately, they feel stiff and seem to be glued to my eyelids rather than just the lashes. This has made them uncomfortable to wear, especially when closing my eyes, as the hardness of the lashes pokes against my eyelids. I had to separate some lashes from my skin to sleep comfortably. The lashes are also quite firm, possibly due to the new glue used. Although I didn't mention the style difference initially, they are still cute, but not the "manwha" style I desired. While I don't dislike them and may return, I wouldn't wholeheartedly recommend unless you seek a specific lash style. *My lashes are a thinner set with taller, sharper spikes, while the fuller set was my reference.*
