After getting a gel manicure at Mets Nails, my nails started chipping within just two days. When I went back to have the gel removed, I was informed that they were not accepting any more clients for the day. I was also denied a refund. The main staff member was extremely rude, so I chose not to argue with her and left. I decided to visit Helianthus Esthetics + Nail Bar nearby, where they graciously removed my polish for free. The customer service there was exceptional, and the salon itself was much cleaner and more welcoming. I will not be returning to Mets Nails and wish I could give them a rating of 0 stars.
While Mets Nails offers excellent pedicures, there is one staff member, a larger woman, who lacks manners and customer service skills. Her demeanor is simply unpleasant.
I have been a loyal customer of Mets Nails for many years, back when they were known as Hannas. Their pedicures have always been top-notch. Unfortunately, since I moved away, I haven't been able to visit as often. However, when I had the chance to stop by recently, I was looking forward to a relaxing pedicure. To my disappointment, the technician spent the entire time watching a TV show on her phone, neglecting the service. There was no massage included, which is a crucial part of the experience I enjoy. The cleaning under my nails was subpar, and the corners were not properly trimmed. It felt like a waste of $30, and I don't plan on returning. Additionally, the pedicure chairs are in dire need of an upgrade.
