Avoid this place. Spend the additional $15 and head over to Joyful Hue. I made a reservation here for the first time since my regular person at Joyful Hue was fully booked, and I had an event I needed them for. I prefer my nails short and sharp - been doing them that way for the past six years. No one has ever given me trouble except for this place. Not only was the individual I had very impolite, but if he banged something out of frustration on his tiny nail table once more, I was going to create a scene. He disregarded my requests, filed over my tender nail causing it to sting under the UV light, dismissed my color preference for whatever reason, and then billed me $85 for what appeared to be fake nails. Dreadful experience, impolite individuals who have no clue what they're doing, unclean place. Steer clear of this place.
I've visited this place at least ten times and each time I do, it's another reason not to return. The most significant advantage is that it's secure and hygienic. The staff gossips about you right in front of you. This last visit was the final visit for me. My daughter and I were approximately 8 minutes late for our appointment. We were urged twice to hasten (literally - "hurry up!") while we selected our color. We had been searching for, no exaggeration, 2 minutes. Every service was rushed to the point that they were scarcely finished. I paid $155 after gratuity and truthfully, I don't even comprehend what I paid for. We were there for about an hour and could have likely painted our nails at home. The pedicure lacked exfoliation, no pushing back or trimming cuticles, they didn't even file my toenails - they didn't even TRIM every toenail! Never again.
Everyone adores a great transformation. My nails were around 3 weeks old and beginning to lift. I made a spontaneous decision to visit Angel Tips for a powder dip manicure and a standard pedicure. They squeezed me in promptly, very pleasant. Alex did an exceptional job on my pedicure and manicure. I adore the ombre French design she did, she was highly meticulous and tidied up the edges and shaped them flawlessly. Their rates are fair, not low-cost but I believe worth the service you'll get. The establishment is spotless and quite calming to me because there are no televisions. You can also sense that the crew relish working there as they chuckle and exchange jokes with each other in English and their mother tongue. I will absolutely revisit.
