We recently visited Pura Vida for a girl's weekend spa day. The ambiance is definitely more of a salon feel (vs. spa feel), but there are locker rooms and robes. The actual services and providers were 5-star! Jordan gave an incredible 90-minute massage (one of the best I've ever had), and Taylor gave me a stellar facial and was so enjoyable to be around (perfect balance of communication and relaxation). So if you're looking for great services at great prices, this will be a win. I was quite anxious when I visited Alex as I had never had a curly hair cut before. I appreciate that Alex took the time to discuss the style I desired and kept me informed throughout the process. Even though I don't reside in Waco, I was pleased with how my hair turned out - it looked even better the next day! Thank you, Alex, and if I'm in the area again, I will definitely return!

I am willing to pay for any service I receive. However, being charged for something I didn't ask for is incredibly frustrating! There was no consultation provided, so I assumed she understood what my son and I wanted when she said okay. She only started the consultation after cutting my son's hair. And then had the nerve to blame me for not specifying how I wanted my son's hair styled.
I showed her a picture of the fade I wanted for my son and just a trim for the long hair on top because I didn't want it too short initially. Their prompt response, estimated pricing, and easy appointment scheduling were impressive. Unlike my previous stylist with limited availability, Jona's accessibility was refreshing. Their cheerful demeanor, clear explanations, and patience with my inquiries were remarkable. I appreciate their positive energy and welcoming personality. Jona is now my go-to hairstylist!
