We recently visited Pura Vida for a girl's weekend spa day. The ambiance is definitely more of a salon feel (vs. spa feel), but there are locker rooms and robes. The actual services and providers were 5-star! Jordan gave an incredible 90-minute massage (one of the best I've ever had), and Taylor gave me a stellar facial and was so enjoyable to be around (perfect balance of communication and relaxation). So if you're looking for great services at great prices, this will be a win. I am willing to pay for any service I receive. However, being charged for something I didn't ask for is incredibly frustrating! There was no consultation provided, so I assumed she understood what my son and I wanted when she said okay. She only started the consultation after cutting my son's hair. And then had the nerve to blame me for not specifying how I wanted my son's hair styled.
I showed her a picture of the fade I wanted for my son and just a trim for the long hair on top because I didn't want it too short initially. I was quite anxious when I visited Alex as I had never had a curly hair cut before. I appreciate that Alex took the time to discuss the style I desired and kept me informed throughout the process. Even though I don't reside in Waco, I was pleased with how my hair turned out - it looked even better the next day! Thank you, Alex, and if I'm in the area again, I will definitely return!
