I had high expectations for this nail salon due to its excellent reputation and ratings. I called to inquire about their prices. They quoted $26 for powder nails topped with clear gel. I decided to make an appointment as they only accept bookings. There are only two employees at the salon, one for nails and the other for pedicures. The nail technician explained their salon policy of appointments only and cash payments. She suggested that I did not need a new set and mentioned they did not have colored powder available. Although hesitant, she offered a gel nail color similar to what I wanted. I agreed, and she proceeded to remove my existing set, trim my nails, and apply the basic powder and gel color. The process took about 2 1/2 hours, and the total cost for the fill and gel color was $40. I was disappointed with the uneven color application and some nails being cut too short. Overall, it was a pricey and unsatisfactory experience. I do not plan on returning.
This nail salon is truly exceptional! I have been a loyal customer for 30 years. Even when I moved away, I could never find a salon that matched their quality. Whenever I visit the area to see family, I always make sure to schedule an appointment here. I am delighted that my work has brought me back to this location, allowing me to continue receiving their top-notch service. Both Julie and Kim have taken care of my nails, providing excellent service and outstanding quality work. Making an appointment is necessary, but it's because they dedicate time to ensure the best results. They focus on giving each client the personal attention they deserve, without engaging in conversations in their native language during appointments.
