I had high hopes for this spot. My first son's haircut was spot-on. But when I brought my other three boys, it was a disaster. All three ended up with terrible cuts! They were too scared to ask for a fix, so we had to seek help elsewhere. The appointments are always running late, which I get, but the lack of customer care is what really bothers me. Our latest visit was a mess. The one son who got a decent cut wanted to return, but now his hair looks like a bowl was plonked on his head and trimmed around. We waited nearly 20 minutes past our slot, and the staff barely said a word beyond a cold "you can come back now." Inconsistency and poor service aside, the place does have a nice vibe. But sadly, we won't be returning.
I booked a slot for my son at 3 pm, but by 3:30 pm, he had walked out. The barber was still busy, and others were waiting too. We've visited Steve's Barber multiple times, where waiting is part of the deal due to the lack of appointments, so we're used to it. My son had a prior commitment and couldn't wait any longer. Unlike Faded, my son respects other people's time.
A top spot for a trim! It's the only joint open on weekends in Versailles, saving me the drive to Lexington. Jay welcomed me without an appointment and crafted a fantastic look for me. Super friendly and honest service!
