As a spontaneous visitor, I received a warm welcome from the shop owner. She worked swiftly and precisely, delivering a superb eyebrow shaping. Additionally, she offers henna services and sells jewelry. The shop is open every day of the week. I've visited this place multiple times before, but the last two visits were disappointing. The staff is friendly, but I'm not satisfied with how my nails turned out. I paid $35 and the results are not what I expected. When I mentioned my concerns to the lady, she just said they would do a better job next time and commented on my short nails. I simply wanted a squared shape, but each nail ended up different. The dip powder service made my nails thick, rounded, and bulging, giving them a "nubby" appearance. The dip powder also didn't fully cover my nails. They used to do well with acrylics, but not with natural nails. Yesterday, was my 1st, and surely NOT my final experience with this incredible gem of a spot!
From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed warmly by every team member, not just my stylist, who was finishing up with another client, but still acknowledged my arrival, (that's always key to me!)
I didn't wait long at all, and since Laura, my stylist, knew what I wanted, we discussed once more the specifics, and she made me feel VERY at ease that she was in charge of this appt, and knew exactly what I required.
Laura's lively, diverse and electric personality, made the whole appointment an absolute blast, and much needed break from my daily life. Never once did I feel rushed or unwelcome.
Since this was a last minute appointment, (I literally wrote in at 2am that morning to schedule,) I had zero idea what I was to expect.
This salon, these remarkable individuals and the ambiance, exceeded my every expectation.
Now..for the goods!!! Laura made me go from frumpy to friggin sexy, and I could not be more grateful!! My very thick down to my butt hair was dull, lifeless and looked like it had a broom at the end of it. She gave me the kick of vibrant red I needed to boost my mood, attitude and fortitude to get up BEFORE I had to this morning just to write this review in hopes that this amazing salon gets some much needed love and admiration! Even seeing the other clients come and go, the other stylists are equally as talented!
I'm actually hoping my roots come in sooner so I can go back sooner just because I had such a good time! Oh and don't get me started on the beautiful plants and cool stuff they sell....BONUS!!
One of the biggest things I appreciated about Laura was not only her supreme, and I mean SUPREMELY SUPREME coloring skills, but she's partner to a veteran, which is very dear to my heart as I am also. I feel that her compassion in general, makes her an incredibly remarkable human, so working with clients like myself, who have had difficulty just leaving home to get their hair done, or just leaving their home for ANYTHING, gives her a unique perspective to help.
I bless the fates that brought this amazing human and salon my way. My hair looks soooo beautiful and my soul is replenished!

I just enrolled at Tokyo Institute of Cosmo for Advanced Cosmetology. I’m more than excited to start my journey as a beautician!! I’m also 30yo and was anxious to go back to school. Miss Akari and Yui did an excellent job signing me up. They helped me with my High School Diploma to get it evaluated because I’m Japanese. I also attended Open House day recently, and it was fantastic! So happy to discover this place, Teachers showed us the entire campus, which is so clean, with a great atmosphere and updated facilities, machines, etc. It's a large place with so many different specialties. To be honest, I have tried several nail salons in Vacaville for my pedicures, and they always seem to struggle with precision. As soon as I sat down, the technician appeared rushed. I had to request a service menu, and the entire experience felt hurried. In the past, a different salon accidentally nicked my big toe, and this time, the technician cut the sides of my toes unnecessarily. One of my toes bled continuously because he attempted to trim a "hangnail," despite my toes not typically having them. Only my two big toes have ingrown nails, and I believe he trimmed them too aggressively as they are now red and tender. I woke up in pain this morning and had to disinfect the area. Rushing through services only leads to mistakes and subpar results.
