Due to my regular nail salon being fully booked, I decided to give this place a shot since it was conveniently located. Let me tell you, it was the worst nail experience I've ever had.
I'm not entirely convinced about the expertise here: they have a nice variety of colors, but they ended up getting gel on my skin quite a bit, which I later found out can lead to allergies and other issues over time. When I went back to have them removed professionally, they used cuticle trimmers to pry them off and then aggressively filed down my nails with a coarse nail file, passing it off as a manicure. Upon close inspection, my nails looked like shattered glass. I paid $35 (plus a tip out of habit without realizing the poor quality) and my nails were sore for days after, now left paper-thin for the upcoming month until they grow out. I'm constantly worried they'll tear. I understand the damage that gel and acrylics can cause, but this was excessive. I can't even do anything with my nails now. And to top it off, there are still remnants of the red color in places since they didn't use acetone as requested. I could have removed them at home, but I read about the risks and opted for a professional removal. When I asked for a refund, they refused. They did offer to file my nails again, but I don't think that's wise in their current state. Overall, I've come to terms with it, but I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for nail services. Oh, and I forgot to mention, on my first visit, the technician didn't wear gloves while tending to me with a bleeding cut on his finger. That should have been a major warning sign. Lesson learned. RIP. (And these photos were taken right after returning home post-removal and manicure session.)
Alright, so juggling all the mom duties while the kids are at school can be quite the challenge, right? But let me tell you about Sarah, she's a lifesaver! I managed to sneak away to Pretty Nails after school hours, and boy, was it worth it. Sarah's attention to detail and top-notch customer service made me feel like a queen. And the end result? Absolutely stunning! I was beyond impressed and completely in love with my nails. I won't even think about going anywhere else from now on. 💗(Oh, and she was so patient with my rowdy kids and her choice of mood-changing nail color was just perfect 🥰)
