I purchased this massage through a LivingSocial deal as a present for a relative. He is hesitant to share his feedback due to feeling embarrassed, so I am stepping in to express our disappointment. This was not an inexpensive gift, and his experience at the spa was subpar. I typically do not leave reviews unprompted, but in this instance, I feel compelled to share our negative encounter. The initial impression of the establishment was lackluster; it appeared unclean and had an unpleasant odor. The music was played through a mobile phone, and the overall conditions of the salon and massage table were less than satisfactory. Lastly, I am reluctant to mention this, but the masseuse, whose name remains unknown to me and will remain undisclosed out of respect, seemed lacking in professionalism and expertise. The recipient of the massage described it as the worst experience he has had. The masseuse's technique was repetitive and seemingly ineffective, focusing excessively on one side of the body due to the table being fixed against a wall without proper mobility. Furthermore, the individual experienced discomfort, possibly from the masseuse's nails or jewelry, and felt something brushing against their skin. Despite the discomfort, he did not request the session to be halted out of embarrassment. I implore the spa to accurately represent their services and capabilities. If they persist in misleading customers, they should not charge more than $10 for massages and the overall experience. Even with the discounted rate from LivingSocial, the service was overpriced, and I shudder to think of their regular prices. If they intend to maintain their current pricing structure, they must revamp their entire business model, as their current practices are deceitful. Thank you.
The new gentleman is demanding a hefty sum for just half an hour of massage. Despite being seniors, this exorbitant pricing is unjustifiable. Elderly individuals also require affordable massage services.
