A vast array of food and beverages available. Gives off a Safeway-like atmosphere. Prices are quite fair. Felt secure while shopping during daylight hours. However, a friend mentioned that the ambiance becomes more concerning after dark.
What's the deal with the produce at Stater Bros? Even the organic options taste like they've been doused in harmful chemicals.
Decent store with a wide variety of products, but oh my! The prices are consistently exorbitant... When I brought it up, the employees seemed embarrassed. Sauerkraut from SB that used to be $.79 before the pandemic is now $1.59... Some items like Biscoff cookies went from $2.99 to $5.99, and a can of SB peaches that was once $.99 is now $1.79, and the list goes on. AND they have sales for 3 items, but you're required to buy three to get that price, whether you need three or not. Oh, and they raise the price for a week or two, then lower it back down and call it a sale, but you still have to buy three to get that price. Congratulations SB for taking advantage of your customers! Bravo! Have you ever considered that you might be contributing to the inflation issue rather than solving it?!? Greed at its peak.
