I visited for a basic pedicure and declined a "complimentary" back massage. Upon settling the bill, I left a 20% tip. The staff member loudly accused me of not tipping for the massage, even though I did not receive one. He persisted in an embarrassing and awkward manner. This uncomfortable incident has deterred me from ever revisiting this establishment.
I have frequented Majestic Nails for several years and have recommended it to MANY acquaintances. I have always been satisfied with the service provided at this establishment. During my recent visit for a pedicure, I was promptly attended to due to the lack of other customers. Opting for a gel spa pedicure priced at $95, the package included a 15-minute chair massage. I inquired about substituting the chair massage with a foot massage due to an upcoming neck surgery, but the owner adamantly refused. I expressed my unwillingness to pay for a service I wouldn't receive, to which he incorrectly claimed it was complimentary. Disappointed by this encounter, I have decided not to return and will inform my friends and family about how Majestic Nails treated a loyal patron.
I first visited Majestic Nails upon their grand opening. However, I have not returned in quite some time. The recent experience was a stark contrast! My nail polish started chipping right after I left. The staff there are quite unprofessional and seem inexperienced. Despite spending $70, I did not receive a promised massage. This will be my final visit there, as there are numerous other nail salons in our vicinity.
