Nice and small Ace Hardware in Troy with a friendly staff that is always helpful. They may not carry everything you might need but I'm grateful that they exist and I will always try them first before heading out of town to a bigger Hardware store.
My wife and I recently visited this location. A young woman greeted us, asked us if she could help find what we were looking for, and helped us find top soil outside & loaded it. My wife and I were so happy with our experience!
Every time I come to Ace I've always been greeted by an employee upon entering the store. Knowledgeable, very helpful with which product would be better to use for my project maintenance for my yard . Mark often ,has been very helpful how to use poison worms to rid moles.. proper time to fertilize or sow seed. Jared and Jake been very helpful with mechanical things I had trouble getting the right fittings for my new pole to display my new American flag and Jared selected and showed me how to put it together. Another time I had trouble learning how to use my weed eater I brought it back into the store and Justin showed me how to operate the weed eater to feed the line. Selecting a 22-in electric trimmer, I also needed a blower, needed help with selecting certain types of light bulbs for fixtures eg LED versus old style bulbs, explaining HOW I COULD ACHIEVE a definite difference using LED DAYLIGHT BULB is BEST for BRIGHTNESS vs. REGULAR .OLD STYLE BULBS... I'm impressed with the product knowledge , and the spontaneous help I receive or if they can't help then that person will inquire to Jared or Mark . Casey is ALWAYS TREMENDOUS HELP TO ME.. Casey has incredible KNOWLEDGE, EXPERTISE and paints, many other departments of the store IN CLOSING , I CANNOT GIVE ENOUGH ACCOLADES TO JARED AND CASEY AND ALL THE EMPLOYEES at ACE HARDWARE HERE IN TROY ...
