My experience at La Vie Nail Lounge with Rose was exceptional. I received a Mani/Pedi and Rose was attentive, gentle, and unhurried. My nails were in poor condition when I arrived. When I expressed my concern about my thin nails while removing the old gel polish, Rose took her time and avoided using the rotary machine. Rose even has a plan to strengthen and improve the health of my natural nails, which excites me! I cherished every moment of my visit, feeling pampered, listened to, and not rushed, a rarity in nail salons. Rose is a skilled, friendly, and caring professional. As a teacher, I look forward to fun nail art sessions with her when the school year begins. I highly recommend Rose🌹 at La Vie Nail Lounge.

I decided to visit this new nail salon in the town, my gel x manicure had grown out. I requested a soak off and gel manicure from the receptionist. The nail technician who attended to me drilled down the gel x instead of soaking it off as I had asked. The manager assured me my nails were strong enough for the gel manicure even after drilling them down. I was not informed to trim my nails or that they were weak. I proceeded with the service and got the gel manicure, they looked good initially and I was satisfied. However, a week later my nails started breaking and cracking. I returned to have them fixed, 4 nails were repaired, and the nail tech mentioned that my nails were done incorrectly and would continue to break. She also noted that Gel X should be soaked off, not drilled down. After 5 days, more nails broke, including the ones that were fixed. Upon returning to the salon, the manager refused to fix or refund, offering to remove the nails but charging for a redo. I was also charged a $15 "soak off fee" despite not having the original nails soaked off. I paid $77 in total, including tip. Not worth the money, especially with inexperienced nail techs. The response to my review is misleading, as I did not receive a free redo.

These are the worst nails I have ever had. I visited this place hoping for a free fix due to them filing my nails too thin previously. However, I was charged for the nail repair, despite every nail being uneven and thin to start with. I was cut multiple times on my skin and left with nails that looked like a beginner's work. There were airbrush marks all over my skin, clumps of acrylic underneath, and angled nails. The manager was extremely rude. I deserve a full refund, this place is a scam. Avoid at all costs! Spend your money elsewhere at a reputable salon. I initially paid $92 for my nails, then an additional $42 for this result. Absolutely unacceptable.
