Hair Cuttery

This has been the most abysmal customer service encounter I've ever faced! I had made a highlight appointment a week prior, only to arrive and be informed, after a 15-minute wait, that they had run out of lightening products. This crucial information could have been communicated before my arrival or even during the booking process. Not only was this unprofessional, but it also inconvenienced me as I had taken time off work and was traveling the next day. I will be cautioning all my relatives and friends to steer clear of this establishment!

This establishment deserves no stars whatsoever. I visited for a cut with face-framing layers, aiming to enhance my beautiful long hair by removing some dead ends and reducing its weight. However, the stylist completely disregarded my wishes and proceeded to chop off my locks into a lopsided mullet. The aftermath has left me devastated, shedding tears daily over the years it will take to regrow my hair. To add insult to injury, the stylist had the audacity to mock me and comment to a colleague about my supposed desire for a drastic cut, which was not the case. A dreadful experience overall. Avoid this place at all costs.

I scheduled my appointment over the phone with someone who mentioned they had an open slot at 12:30. Arriving at 12:20, I found the salon bustling with activity. However, to my dismay, none of the three stylists at the register acknowledged my presence. They all dispersed to their workstations, and one stylist even nonchalantly picked up her cellphone, seemingly oblivious to me. Standing at the counter, I was finally asked if I had checked in, to which I pointed out the malfunctioning check-in screen. After providing my name, I was assured someone would assist me shortly. By then, it was already 12:45. Just as I was contemplating leaving, another stylist inquired if I had been helped. She then whispered to a colleague, who indicated she would attend to me soon. At 1 o'clock, a stylist approached me and suggested that another stylist, Val, would be better suited for my hair. Agreeing, I appreciated Val's expertise with textured hair. While Val did an excellent job, I was disappointed by the lack of a welcoming atmosphere from the other stylists. The individual behind the register, whom I assumed might be the manager, also failed to acknowledge me. Her attire, consisting of blue jeans, a tank top, and sandals, did not exude professionalism. Despite wanting to award Val five stars for her work, the initial impression left much to be desired. I opted to swiftly purchase products elsewhere at Sally's. Customer service is paramount in any business; improvements are necessary here!
