Thought I was really going to enjoy this place. I asked for Nexgen, but they used some brand I've never heard of, my nails turned out grainy and I was not happy at all. Even after three coats of top coat, you can still see the brush marks. The person who did my nails definitely needs a lot more practice, but not on me. The staff there is not friendly at all, and the person who wrapped my nails did not use enough acetone on the cotton, so the excess dip had to be drilled off. Ugh! A terrible experience! I definitely won't be going back; the first time was the last time! 😡 Update: On the second day, the dip product started chipping and fracturing. I called the salon to inform them and spoke to Alex, who asked me to come in for a fix. Why? This should never have happened if the dip was applied correctly by the nail tech, which it clearly wasn't! A waste of time and money!
Let me begin by saying this is the most expensive pedicure I've ever paid for, and to add to that, my gel polish peeled off four toes the very next day! I will definitely not be coming back. I recommend trying out Posh Nails across the street; their pedicure lasted me over three weeks with no chips or peeling and at a reasonable price!
Initially I thought this would be my go-to spot. It's close to my place and convenient. I made my first appointment with Alex, and they did a great job. I left a glowing review here. However, even though I requested Alex, the last two appointments, they had to assign me to another tech as they seemed to be overbooked. This tech ended up hurting my cuticles, they bled and are still stinging an hour later. They almost cut my finger while trimming a nail. My cuticles are stinging from the rough treatment. I won't be returning. It's a shame because I live just 5 minutes away from the shop.
