ABSOLUTELY NOT AGAIN!!! This is hands down the worst nail salon I've ever been to! I requested a clear pink nail polish with a V-shaped glitter design on the tip, as shown in the initial image. The technician applied three coats of glitter, insisting the glitter wouldn't be visible. I didn't say anything because some technicians elsewhere smooth out gel polish if it gets too thick during the design process, but this technician didn't, and I thought I'd leave with clumpy, awful-looking nails. When I asked them to remove the glitter and just leave my nails pink, the technician and the owner (I presume) became confrontational. The technician even flung my hand away after redoing one hand. The redo was also terrible!!!! The polish wasn't applied all the way to the nail bed. Don't take my word for it, look at the photos!!!! I declined a third attempt because it was late (past 9 pm), and on top of everything, they had the audacity to charge $70 for a fill (without any designs) and a French pedicure. I usually pay $60 elsewhere, and my nails are adorned with designs. Shake my head. Stay far away from this establishment!!!!
Truly the most unsafe nail salon you could enter. Within 48 hours of getting a gel nail polish set, my nails began chipping at the tips, and a nail infection started around my cuticle :-(. This place doesn't sterilize their tools unless you specifically request it and they reuse buffers and nail files. Their hair removal wax contains harsh chemicals that irritate the skin, and they double-dip in the wax using the same applicator. I was shocked by what I saw and opted out of getting a pedicure after my gel set. Be cautious, ladies and gentlemen; this is one of those nail salons situated in black and brown communities but lacks integrity or concern for the well-being of its patrons. I will be lodging a complaint against them with the Cosmetology Board of Maryland for their unethical practices.
My father and I visit this nail salon biweekly. It was challenging to find a nail studio that values your nails and performs well! It's clean, everyone is friendly, and the nail technicians are very attentive! We drive 45 minutes just to come here, and we have no intention of changing that. I recommended they create a social media presence to showcase their skills; they also offer waxing and henna eyebrows! We adore this place. The technicians at seats 2 and 7 are fantastic! Keep up the great work, ladies!
