I adore visiting this spot! Cami Or Connie consistently trims my hair flawlessly and engages in delightful conversations. They are kind and pleasant to interact with. Their haircuts are top-notch. The pricing is very fair too. I always leave them a generous tip as a token of my appreciation.
I phoned on Saturday, 27 July at 9:30 AM. I booked an appointment for 11 AM on the same day. When I arrived for my appointment at 11, I provided my name and phone number. The attendant appeared confused. Despite giving her my name, it wasn't in their system. Although my phone number was in the system, I did receive a confirmation text for my appointment. However, my slot was given to someone else who may have walked in a few minutes before me. I arrived on time, even a bit early. The stylist was perplexed as my name wasn't in their system but my number was. She had me write my name on a paper, entered it into the computer, and then requested I return at 12 PM, an hour later than my original 11 o'clock slot. So, I came back at noon. Unfortunately, I ended up with a terribly botched haircut and had to visit another salon to rectify it as I didn't trust them to fix it.
The haircuts at Fantastic Sam's are incredibly inconsistent and a risky bet when you're in need of a quick trim. It's absolutely outrageous and disrespectful how some individuals lack the necessary skills and end up ruining someone's day. Consider a career change! I visited this location and had my hair cut by an elderly Asian lady who completely destroyed my hair! I understand that one might not expect perfection from an affordable salon, but I have a funeral to attend tomorrow. Improve and ensure your staff are competent in their roles. The unnecessary negative remarks about my hair's condition from the stylist were uncalled for. I will never return here. I have wavy/curly hair, and her inability to even comb through it was painful (my hair was hardly tangled, and I take good care of it). Exercise caution if you plan on visiting this place.
