I've been frequenting TLC for close to three months now, and I must say I've finally discovered my go-to nail salon. My family has been loyal patrons of TLC for quite some time, and they always spoke highly of the place. Initially, I was hesitant due to some negative reviews online, but I can confidently say that most of those reviews are unfounded. The various nail technicians I've encountered at the salon have all been incredibly polite and attentive. They consistently check in to ensure I'm satisfied with the progress of my nails and the final result. Unlike many salons focused solely on profit, the technicians here prioritize the client's experience and the quality of service provided. I urge you not to be swayed by misleading reviews and give this dedicated staff a chance.
I have a strong dislike for TLC nail salon; it lacks cleanliness, and both the male owner and female technicians handle the filing process too roughly. During my recent visit, a particular technician performed a dip manicure on me. Usually, I express gratitude and admiration for my nails post-service, but this time, I remained silent as the end result was unsightly and disappointing. To make matters worse, I sustained an injury while my nails were being filed to achieve this subpar look. This establishment either needs to improve by hiring skilled and gentle technicians or shut down entirely. Furthermore, the unsanitary conditions were evident when the technician, Sandy, touched my open cut with her unwashed hands contaminated by dip powder and applied an unknown ointment she claimed was antiseptic. This lack of infection control is unacceptable. The cut caused during the service only added to the overall unpleasant experience and wasted both my time and money.
I've been a loyal customer at TLC Nails for years now, and I can't sing their praises enough. I've had the pleasure of receiving top-notch service from nearly every technician at the salon. The staff is always welcoming and accommodating. Whether I come in with a specific nail design in mind or leave it to the creativity of Tammy and John, they never fail to exceed my expectations. My latest visit with John was particularly delightful!
