This was an amazing gift from my family. The location was FANTASTIC. The ladies at the front desk were exceptional, courteous, and very welcoming. Completed the forms at home as recommended on the website and arrived 15 minutes early just in case. Everything went smoothly upon arrival. Confirming my services took under 2 minutes. Went in at my scheduled time. Sarah did an outstanding job with my massage and was very professional. She discussed pressure levels I would be comfortable with. The massage was much needed. It was a fantastic professional, welcoming experience all around.
I opted for a prenatal massage about a month ago because I'm expecting and my back started to ache. After my massage, I inquired about the membership as it would be beneficial during my pregnancy. I got signed up smoothly. I scheduled my next appointment and discovered that the prenatal massage was not covered in the monthly credit and required a $15 upgrade. While it's still cost-effective with the membership, my issue is why wasn't this communicated to me during sign-up. I contacted the establishment to cancel my membership due to the lack of integrity in their sales approach. The person who answered the phone was Mia. She mentioned she would note down my details for a callback. Although she recognized me, I only provided my first name without a surname. I'm certain there are numerous Tracys, so I can't be the only one. She didn't record my information and guess what? No one reached out. Because Mia said she regrets my decision to cancel, someone should contact me soon. They didn't! Why? Because then they wouldn't receive their commission for my registration! The only reason I retained my membership was because of the staff at Grant. I won't be revisiting Cottman and will be utilizing the services at Grant. Integrity is needed in your sales approach, and customers should be informed about everything. If they had informed me about the $15 additional charge, I would have been fine, but provide me with that option as a paying customer.
