I am still dealing with a severe breakout on my forehead above my eyebrows a week and a half later. Perhaps I should have emphasized more that I had never waxed my eyebrows before? Or mentioned my preferences for shape and avoiding pulling above my eyebrows? The lack of communication and consultation during the process was disappointing. I wish there had been a discussion about the procedure and the products being used. There was no consideration for my first-time experience, and now it will be my last.
Receiving a rude comment about my eyebrows not being symmetrical in the middle of the session was disheartening. Instead of feeling empowered and confident after my appointment, I left feeling less sure of myself. As women in the beauty industry, it is important to uplift and empower clients. Emily is absolutely fantastic - she is incredibly knowledgeable and created two beautiful custom colors for me, a lip gloss, and a lip balm. I adore both shades and recently returned for a refill, which lasted me since August. I have recently relocated from Denver to Seattle, and I am extremely thankful a colleague suggested this salon. Honestly, no referral, or critique can adequately capture the praise Danielle merits. I will strive to detail how incredibly valuable this rare, exceptional stylist is. On a personal level, she is the most authentically intelligent, entertaining, compassionate, empathetic, and skilled individual. I reached out to explain my hair dilemma, and hopefully schedule an appointment; she personally phoned me that day to discuss the appointment process, and expectations, and she had me scheduled that afternoon! My hair was always very lengthy, voluminous, and vibrant blonde. The past few months I started experiencing hair loss, dealing with breakage, and receiving disappointing haircuts in efforts to manage the distressed looking mess my hair has turned into. Danielle was so warm, and inviting. She has a stunning salon, that’s spotless, and exquisitely adorned. She took the time to truly listen to what my story was, what I aspired to achieve with my hair; and she genuinely cared. She walked me through everything. She truly prioritizes your hair's health as well. Danielle transformed a very disheartening hair disaster into a fresh, healthy, beautifully colored, and cut entirely rejuvenated style! Additionally, her sibling is incredibly entertaining, and insightful. He made the appointment absolutely fly by with his incredibly charming genuineness! Such an enjoyable experience when you feel so completely at ease in the presence of such brilliant, and simply genuinely good individuals! Danielle also introduced me to brand new products I would have never come across, and I thought I had tried them all! They are absolute essentials for me now. I cannot possibly endorse a salon, and stylist more than I do Seattle hair, and Danielle!

My recent visit was a nightmare, and I won't return. Despite previous satisfactory visits, this time was a disaster. I went for a Gel-X soak off, which took nearly two hours. I was passed between technicians, mainly the owner/manager who seemed inexperienced, cut me with the dremel, and used her nails instead of tools. The job was incomplete, and Judy finished it rudely, shaking my arm forcefully. Cuticles were left unattended, no polish was applied, yet I was charged $49 for a "manicure" I didn't receive. The manager pressured me to tip via Venmo. It's a pity because other technicians seemed nice, but witnessing a client wait for an hour past their appointment time was unacceptable. My first spa experience was a good one. The facility was clean, organized, and staff were constantly cleaning and restocking. Towels and slippers were provided. Locker rooms had amenities like blow dryers, scrunchies, lotions, face wash, mouthwash, and more. There are 3 plunge pools - hot, medium, and cold. I preferred the hot pool at 104 degrees. The medium was a bit cool, and the cold was too chilly for me at 50 degrees. There are also 3 saunas at different temperatures, including a steam sauna. I had a 50-minute massage which was good but left me sore for a few days. I also tried a scrub which left me oily, requiring a rinse before getting back in the pool. The place got crowded as the day went on. I went on a Tuesday and it was quite busy. They have a food area with liquor available, but it's pricey. Overall, not a bad first spa experience, conveniently located in Brooklyn. No phones allowed in the spa area.About

While they don't offer couple's rooms, we both finished our massages simultaneously in separate rooms. I'm leaving this review considering it's a fledgling venture, as I believe they've been operational for less than a month. The massage experience was delightful! It seems like I had two different massage therapists; one appeared to be less seasoned while the other exuded expertise. Upon entering the cozy room, you're instructed to disrobe to your undergarments and lie facedown with your face in the cushioned opening of the massage table.
