Received an exceptional full body massage from this establishment and let me tell you, they managed to work out all the tension and tightness from every part of my body. **I hold a strong bias towards the work of Alex. I started my journey with Alex back in 1980, as a client, a student, and to assist in expanding their clientele. I have witnessed the Growth of the NeuroMuscular Center from a yoga mat to a fully equipped healing space. Whenever I encounter a colleague, student, friend, or family member facing a physical ailment, I promptly direct them to The NeuroMuscular Center. Personally, I have dealt with various muscle and back strains that Alex has promptly healed. I recommended a male with fasciitis in his foot, a relative with a kidney condition who thought his days were numbered - he's still around, as cantankerous as ever! A male with chronic back pain who has successfully returned to work. Alex worked with him both physically and mentally, instilling the confidence he needed to resume work. Upon learning about Alex's practice, I undertook their Development Course and have integrated it into my Psychology Courses in College ever since. It is hands down the most beneficial course I have taken (and subsequently taught) for over two decades. I no longer entertain people's complaints! I've been a patron here for a while, but I once tried a different salon in Sunnyside as a walk-in, and they completely botched my nails. I visited to get a men's haircut for my long hair. The barbers were very professional, gave me the perfect fade on the sides, and cut the exact length I requested. I felt understood as they explained the exact steps they would take and provided helpful suggestions. It's a cozy salon but very efficient (I was finished in about 40 minutes for a cut, shampoo, and blowout!) and the prices were reasonable for the area (it cost me only $50 excluding tips which must be in cash). Walk-ins are not accepted, appointments must be made which isn't too inconvenient. The salon was uncomfortably warm due to no air conditioning, and Pooja rushed through the procedure, neglecting to show me the final result or inquire about my satisfaction. I couldn't even assess the outcome properly as she hurried me to the checkout. I can't vouch for other staff members, but I strongly advise against booking an appointment with Pooja.
