I am ECSTATIC I chose to visit Stay Calm rather than a random salon and hope they cater to children. The staff were extremely friendly, kind, and very considerate. You could sense the hairdressers truly love what they do. Sarah was incredibly kind, she inquired about my daughter's preferences and was patient and attentive. It was only her second haircut so it was a significant moment. Iโm extremely particular about nail salons due to my sensitive cuticles and low pain threshold in my hands and nails. I also feel guilty for subjecting my nails and skin to buffing, filing, and harsh chemicals during a manicure. My visit to Lunula was a game-changer. They exclusively use organic products, and my manicurist was incredibly gentle and meticulous. The salon exuded a serene and calming atmosphere; the scents, decor, and energy of the manicurists all contributed to a perfect setting. After my polish dried, I was pleasantly surprised by a follow-up to ensure my experience was satisfactory and a final cold water rinse to preserve my beautiful manicure. I was informed about their 7-day polish policy, where they offer complimentary touch-ups for any chipped nails - mind blown! This was a first for me, and I left completely satisfied with the service. Iโve already scheduled my next appointment because of the exceptional care I received. **I hold a strong bias towards the work of Alex. I started my journey with Alex back in 1980, as a client, a student, and to assist in expanding their clientele. I have witnessed the Growth of the NeuroMuscular Center from a yoga mat to a fully equipped healing space. Whenever I encounter a colleague, student, friend, or family member facing a physical ailment, I promptly direct them to The NeuroMuscular Center. Personally, I have dealt with various muscle and back strains that Alex has promptly healed. I recommended a male with fasciitis in his foot, a relative with a kidney condition who thought his days were numbered - he's still around, as cantankerous as ever! A male with chronic back pain who has successfully returned to work. Alex worked with him both physically and mentally, instilling the confidence he needed to resume work. Upon learning about Alex's practice, I undertook their Development Course and have integrated it into my Psychology Courses in College ever since. It is hands down the most beneficial course I have taken (and subsequently taught) for over two decades. I no longer entertain people's complaints! My first spa experience was a good one. The facility was clean, organized, and staff were constantly cleaning and restocking. Towels and slippers were provided. Locker rooms had amenities like blow dryers, scrunchies, lotions, face wash, mouthwash, and more. There are 3 plunge pools - hot, medium, and cold. I preferred the hot pool at 104 degrees. The medium was a bit cool, and the cold was too chilly for me at 50 degrees. There are also 3 saunas at different temperatures, including a steam sauna. I had a 50-minute massage which was good but left me sore for a few days. I also tried a scrub which left me oily, requiring a rinse before getting back in the pool. The place got crowded as the day went on. I went on a Tuesday and it was quite busy. They have a food area with liquor available, but it's pricey. Overall, not a bad first spa experience, conveniently located in Brooklyn. No phones allowed in the spa area.About
