Emily is absolutely fantastic - she is incredibly knowledgeable and created two beautiful custom colors for me, a lip gloss, and a lip balm. I adore both shades and recently returned for a refill, which lasted me since August. Lee and her skilled team are not only friendly but also highly proficient technicians. The salon consistently gleams with cleanliness and exudes a fantastic ambiance. Despite their popularity, the team always manages to accommodate my appointments (advance booking is advisable). Compliments on my nails are a regular occurrence, a feat I never achieved until discovering the wonders of Japanese hard gel at cozy. My recent visit was a nightmare, and I won't return. Despite previous satisfactory visits, this time was a disaster. I went for a Gel-X soak off, which took nearly two hours. I was passed between technicians, mainly the owner/manager who seemed inexperienced, cut me with the dremel, and used her nails instead of tools. The job was incomplete, and Judy finished it rudely, shaking my arm forcefully. Cuticles were left unattended, no polish was applied, yet I was charged $49 for a "manicure" I didn't receive. The manager pressured me to tip via Venmo. It's a pity because other technicians seemed nice, but witnessing a client wait for an hour past their appointment time was unacceptable. When it comes to acrylic nails, this salon falls short. While their gel services are passable, acrylics are a different story. The manicurist ended up cutting me in two places due to rough filing. I had to point out errors in the nail leveling process, resulting in a bumpy and uneven finish. My first spa experience was a good one. The facility was clean, organized, and staff were constantly cleaning and restocking. Towels and slippers were provided. Locker rooms had amenities like blow dryers, scrunchies, lotions, face wash, mouthwash, and more. There are 3 plunge pools - hot, medium, and cold. I preferred the hot pool at 104 degrees. The medium was a bit cool, and the cold was too chilly for me at 50 degrees. There are also 3 saunas at different temperatures, including a steam sauna. I had a 50-minute massage which was good but left me sore for a few days. I also tried a scrub which left me oily, requiring a rinse before getting back in the pool. The place got crowded as the day went on. I went on a Tuesday and it was quite busy. They have a food area with liquor available, but it's pricey. Overall, not a bad first spa experience, conveniently located in Brooklyn. No phones allowed in the spa area.About

They exclusively use organic products, and my manicurist was incredibly gentle and meticulous. The salon exuded a serene and calming atmosphere; the scents, decor, and energy of the manicurists all contributed to a perfect setting. After my polish dried, I was pleasantly surprised by a follow-up to ensure my experience was satisfactory and a final cold water rinse to preserve my beautiful manicure. I was informed about their 7-day polish policy, where they offer complimentary touch-ups for any chipped nails - mind blown! This was a first for me, and I left completely satisfied with the service. I’ve already scheduled my next appointment because of the exceptional care I received.
